Loan for a Commercial Bank in Morocco
Supporting the expansion of Japanese companies' machinery and equipment exports to the African region

JBIC established a credit line for export loans with the Moroccan commercial bank Banque Marocaine du Commerce Extérieur under the JBIC Facility for African Investment and Trade Enhancement ("FAITH") )*1to provide funds for local companies in the African region to purchase machinery and equipment from Japanese companies. Many African countries are endowed with natural resources, and current economic growth is increasing demand for infrastructure development. Against this backdrop, Japanese companies show a strong interest in machinery and equipment exports to the region, and this credit line receives high expectations from these companies.
