Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC)
The Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC; Governor: Tadashi Maeda) consolidated its Corporate Planning Department and its Policy and Strategy Office for Financial Operations on July 1 as part of its Action Plan "To ensure an executive management system that facilitates speedy and decisive operation" as set forth in the Third Medium-term Business Plan (FY2018–FY2020).
This partial organizational realignment will strengthen the interactions of the planning functions within the Corporate Planning Department, and promote efficient information sharing as well as smoother and faster communication with management, allowing JBIC to further contribute to the sound development of Japan and the international economy and society.
