JBIC Holds Project Finance Seminars for Regional Banks

View of the seminar

JBIC held its "JBIC Project Finance Seminar (three 2-day sessions)" for regional banks at its head office (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo), starting February 2015. In the three sessions, JBIC staff in charge of project finance gave lectures on the following subjects: 1. Fundamentals of project finance (PF) market trends, risk analysis, and risk control techniques; 2. Practice with a focus on project/finance agreements and project management; and 3. Case studies of examples of JBIC's projects.

JBIC has been involved in co-financing projects to support the overseas business deployment of mid-tier enterprises and small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and also actively promoting collaboration with regional banks by holding seminars and providing information on overseas investment.
