JBIC has introduced four business groups by mission and thematic area in order to concentrate its knowhow and expertise and thereby reinforce project formulation capabilities to carry out its missions more flexibly and strategically. The following is the respective overview of challenges and efforts of the Energy and Natural Resources Finance Group, the Infrastructure and Environment Finance Group, the Industry Finance Group, and the Equity Finance Group.
Energy and Natural Resources Finance Group
To secure a stable supply of energy and mineral resources, etc., the Energy and Natural Resources Finance Group mainly performs its operations.
Infrastructure and Environment Finance Group
To maintain and improve the international competitiveness of the Japanese industries, the Infrastructure and Environment Finance Group supports the overseas deployment of infrastructure and environment business.
Industry Finance Group
To maintain and improve the international competitiveness of Japanese industries, the Industry Finance Group supports the overseas deployment of Japanese companies, including SMEs, supports the export of Japanese ships and plant equipment.
Equity Finance Group
To strengthen the system for supplying risk money, the Equity Finance Group conducts general investment and securitization transactions.
