In order to achieve the vision of low carbon growth and a cleaner society proposed in the recent G8 summit communiqué, private sector financial institutions have a significant role to play, particularly in emerging markets. This seminar highlights the latest environmental finance initiatives and proposals of IFC and JBIC, and showcases innovation in the financial market in energy efficiency and climate change investment products.
